Directions:
Take the Conneaut (Route 7) exit from Interstate 90 North through Conneaut (you will be directed two blocks east on Route 20 to Broad Street). Take Broad to Lake Road, turn left at light and proceed to Buffalo Street, on right.The quilt:
4x4 feet. Pattern: Beach Glass."I found the design on the Web and painted it for them," says Conneaut resident Chris Angerman. "Jason (Babic) built and primed the 4x4. Because the Art Center is right on the lake, I thought it looked like beach glass. Penny liked that, too. The grounds crew, Tom Udall and Don Leach installed it - lovingly. They were wonderful."
The building:
The center is housed in a former Finnish Meeting Hall, Kilpi Hall, that has been repurposed as an arts center.
