The building:
Owner James Kujanpaa built the hangar as storage for his aircraft.
The quilt:
James and his wife Donna made the quilt after learning about barn quilts. They painted it on a sheet of fiberglass. The pattern reflects James' interest in aviation.
The property:
Typical of other farms in the area, the Kujanpaa family's farm was a dairy operation; James repurposed the farm for his flying interests and has his own runway for the vintage aircraft he flies.
