No. 93 Victorian Perambulator Museum

The Victorian Perambulator Museum is an Ashtabula County treasure marked with a barn quilt.

Directions:

From Interstate 90, take Route 11 south (Jefferson) to Route 46. Exit south on Route 46 to Village of Jefferson Proceed through the center of town, through the next stop light toward car dealership on left. Turn left onto East Cedar, barn quilt is on far edge of property by the road (on posts).

The barn quilt

Gary Tabor of Williamsfield Township created this custom barn quilt for twins Jan Palo and Judy Kaminski, who own the Victorian Perambulator Museum.

The pattern is an Ohio Star with Dresden plates. The museum’s signature carriage is in the center of the quilt.

The museum, privately owned, is the world’s largest collection of these ornate conveyances from the Victorian era.
